The best time to plan the automation for your villa is the preliminary design stage, while your architect and MEP engineer (the mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineer) are still drawing the electrics. For villa home automation in Dubai on a new build, we recommend wired KNX, the wiring standard most wired systems use. The cables go in during the build, so nobody has to cut into finished concrete later.

This guide covers what to decide early, what your contractor needs from us and how our work fits around your build. It is written for families building their own villa. If you are the contractor, architect or designer on the project, your section is near the end.
